Daniel Seligman
Co-Founder, Composer, Lyricist, Playwright, Orchestrator
Daniel Seligman is a 23 Year Old Composer, Lyricist, and Playwright living in New York City. Originally from Bethesda, Maryland, Danny is a graduate of Marymount Manhattan College's Writing for the Stage program and privately studies music with Adam Guettel.​

Alongside director Mia Ehrlich, Danny is currently developing multiple original musicals. During his first semester of college, Danny wrote the first version of his musical SWEET MOTHER OF CHRIST for a 48-hour Playwriting Festival. Since then, Mia and Danny held a reading of a one act version in 2022, recorded a demo-tape in Adam Guettel’s studio in 2023, and self-produced a fully staged workshop of the piece in the fall of 2024 at Open Jar Studios.
Danny is also developing a 2 person musical titled THE 1000 YEAR OLD MAN with Mia. Danny is co-orchestrating THE 1000 YEAR OLD MAN with Andrew, and working closely with Mia, as they continue to develop the piece,

Danny works as Adam Guettel’s assistant and worked by his side on the Off-Broadway and Broadway productions of DAYS OF WINE AND ROSES, as well as working on the original cast album. Danny just finished assisting Guettel on the broadway premiere of FLOYD COLLINS, and most recently assisted in the making of the original cast album. Danny's studio work extends to assisting on the 2025 cast recording of ONCE UPON A MATTRESS and his work in his home studio.

Danny also writes bespoke songs for musical theatre performers. Last year, his song, “Too Little Time” was performed by Anna Zavelson at her debut 54 Below show and her concert in Ann Arbor Michigan.

Raised on Classic Rock and with inspirations from Paul McCartney to Stephen Sondheim, Daniel attempts to create a unique sound in all of his work. When he’s not writing, he’s usually thinking about writing, or his pug, Louie.
